A Different Approach to Pain
Root Causes.
Real Relief.
Pain doesn't always come from where it hurts. We look deeper to understand what's driving your pain — and build a treatment plan around you.
Non-Surgical | Non-Pharmeceutical | Personalized Pain Care
Relief is on the horizon.
We Understand
Your Pain
Maybe you've tried everything. Your pain may have started with an injury. Maybe the injury healed, but the pain didn't. Maybe it comes and goes. Maybe stress makes it worse. Maybe tests don't explain how much it hurts.
Maybe you're simply looking for a different approach - one that doesn't begin with medications, injections, or surgery.
Whatever brought you here, understanding what's
driving your pain is where we begin.
Recent pain
Something happened.
Pain following an injury, surgery, accident, or fall.
persistent pain
It should have healed by now.
Pain or limitation that remains after the expected healing period.
chronic pain
It keeps coming back.
Long-standing or recurring pain that may change or flare over time.
Not All Pain is the same
Pain is Personal
Pain can persist for many different reasons, and what contributes to one person's pain may be very different from what contributes to another's. That's why we don't begin with a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
We begin by understanding your story.
Tissue
Healing tissue, irritation, or ongoing inflammation may contribute to pain.
Movement
Movement patterns, muscle tension, or restrictions may contribute to ongoing pain.
Nervous System
The nervous system can become more sensitive to pain signals over time.
Stress & Emotions
Stress, past experiences, and emotional health can influence how pain is experienced.
Why It Matters
Pain can come from more than one thing.
These factors can overlap and influence one another. Understanding what may be contributing to your pain helps us create a more personalized approach to care.

Real Care.
I'm Heather Pickett, RN, and I help people find relief from pain through non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical approaches and individualized care.
My background in nursing and training in acupuncture allow me to look at pain through both Western and Eastern medicine perspectives. Rather than focusing only on where it hurts, I work to understand the physical, nervous system, and other factors that may be contributing to your pain—so we can develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and helps you return to the things that matter most.

“I believe in looking beyond where it hurts—understanding the person, the patterns, and the factors that may be contributing to their pain.”
